Tri-Slider Pro makes loading and unloading of a standard pickup truck easier and more efficient.
I was able slide the GRIDRACK Bed Slide out, load the truck, & slide it right back in! This was easier than having to physically push the items back.

How far does the bed slide extend?
Tri-Slider Pro can extend to 70% on all three levels and, by simply removing the slider stop plates, you can remove the slider completely.
I see the slider has multiple stop positions, how many and where are they?
Tri-Slider Pro has 3 stop positions total: fully closed, even with tailgate, and fully extended (70% extension)
Is there a version without side boxes?
No, a GRIDRACK™ without side boxes is simply not a GRIDRACK™! Is a non-removable GRIDRACK™ slider something that you want? Let us know!
How does the Truck Slider System provide power?
If you add on the electrical package, the slider connects directly to your truck’s battery with a wiring harness. Once you add power pucks in any of the circular depressions, you can charge anything that can charge wirelessly!
What can the inductive charging pucks charge?
The power pucks can charge the GRIDRACK™ Smart Box and other future cool accessories. It can also charge any of your current gadgets that can charge wirelessly!
Am I losing space around the wheel wells?
No! The Truck Slider Side Boxes install snug around the wheel wells in the bed, taking up very minimal extra space. The space in front (for 6.5’ and 6.75’ beds) or behind (for 5.5’, 6.5’, and 6.75’ beds) the wheel wells is turned into usable, lidded compartments. This space is not watertight, but can be useful for jumper cables, emergency gear, extension cords, and more.
On trucks with Pro Power Onboard, the power outlet can be accessed through a side box compartment.
Why are there 3 different height positions, or levels, for the Slider?
The different levels of Tri-Slider Pro enable flexibility and personalization with your truck. If you want some space below the slider to store long materials or to keep belongings protected, the slider on the upper level might be your ideal spot. If you want to fit most of your tools and gear on top of the slider, the middle or lower levels of the slider will work well for you. The level that suits you might also be affected by if you have a tonneau cover, bed cap, or both! GRIDRACK™ lets you decide what works best, instead of a fixed-position slider or toolbox that dictates where your gear should always go.
How do I change levels?
In about 1-2 minutes you can reposition your Slider to be at any level. Review the PDF Truck Slider System Installation Instructions for detailed instructions on changing levels.
The basic steps are:
- Remove slider stop plate from each side of the slider
- Pull the slider panel out past the final stop position, do not let go of the slider panel
- Tilt the slider panel down against the tailgate, not all the way to the ground
- Use tailgate as a cantilever as you lift to the desired level
- Slide slider back in
- Replace the slider stop plate on both sides.
- You’re ready to go!
What parts of the Truck Slider System are removable, and how do I remove them?
The Slider Panel part of Tri-Slider Pro can be removed as frequently or infrequently as you’d like, but we strongly recommend having a second person help with removal. Review the PDF Truck Slider System Installation Instructions [Hyperlink] for detailed instructions on removing the slider panel.
Following a similar process to changing levels, the basic steps for panel removal are:
- Remove slider stop plate from each side of the slider
- Pull the slider panel out past the final stop position, do not let go of the slider panel
- Tilt the slider panel down against the tailgate, and carefully lower so that one edge is on the ground
- Work with another person to raise slider so it stands vertically on its wheeled edge
- Use rolling casters to move panel to a storage location
- Replace slider stop plate on each side
- To replace the slider, remove secondary bracket from both sides and reverse this process
Truck Slider side boxes aren’t intended for regular removal, but specific instructions for reverse-installing them are included at the end of the Truck Slider System Installation Instructions.
How can I keep it clean?
Trucks get dirty! Tri-Slider Pro will probably get dusty or muddy and some debris might fall beneath the slider panel. We recommend using a soft cleaning rag, power-washing or spraying, or using a leaf blower or compressed air to clean around your Truck Slider System. A simple broom will also do the trick for a quick clean! Keeping the rest of your truck clean is up to you, but the good news is GRIDRACK™ won’t interfere with the car wash, if that’s your thing! Or if you like mud, that’s cool too.
